Miss reading Kyle and Kevin and the gangs China updates. Hope their travels are going well.
I swear, I just saw Piston Honda at the gym. Many of you will not get that reference, but those who do, I promise you, it was him. He even did the eyebrow thing.
Has jogged/walked/ran at least one everyday this year.
Performed my first wedding today. Teas great fun for all. Good luck Kathryn and Clayton in all that you do!

I’ve been living in a cloud for what seems like a week…literally. The fog has not lifted in Houston in about a week.

It never ceases to amaze me. People wait for closet parking spots to the door at the gym. Laziness appears to be an involuntary action.
Today will only be as good as you make it. I choose to make my today great. Let Monday begin.
After an eight hour drive turned into a 12 hour drive (thanks Baton Rouge), we have arrived and are rested at the beach in Gulf Shores.
Gulf Shores, here we come. Shrimp for Thanksgiving? I can live with that.
New Moon
I wonder if everyone who is so excited about New Moon will be as excited tonight when they go to bed in anticipation of worshipping our Lord and Savior tomorrow morning with other Jesus fanatics.
Prayers for a visitor
I will be eating lunch with a man today who has visited with our church several times. I really think he could be a wonderful addition to our family. Please pray that this meeting will go well and that this family ultimately will find a family to worship and work with, whether it is ours or another. May God’s Kingdom continue to grow. May He use us to do it.

Today I will be spending the day with an old friend of mine, Bradley Crider. We used to teach together at WCS and now we both serve as ministers. Here’s to a great day.

Elder and deacon and staff meeting this morning. Went well and we wonderful homemade cinnamon rolls. I get to watch Josie this afternoon all by myself. We will watch the Tide roll over LSU and have some daddy/daughter time.

Today was a great day.
Awesome worship. Awesome service. Wonderful friends and family. We had 220 in attendance. While I know its not all about the numbers, it was just very encouraging to see that many in our worship service. God be praised!

Almost...
I made up my mind to buy an iphone today. I went to go get one, and the Apple Store was closed due to renovation, the AT&T store was almost out the door with people, and Best Buy had one clerk with three people in line. Maybe I’m not supposed to get an Iphone.
I hate to do this...
but I have to go to the gym. Sometimes, I just want to stay fat. Its soooooo much easier. But muscles are good, too! Here’s to the next hour, working out and getting fit.

Fell off the wagon...
That is, the fitness wagon. I blame it on the “personal trainer” that I hired for three sessions, who did no interview, no real fitness evaluation, and basically sucked the wind out of me. Now I feel two weeks behind.
I’ll catch up. Starting tomorrow. Family is gone, no distractions.
